“Garage find” solid original 1968 Jaguar Series 1 E-type 4.2 liter Fixed-head Coupe: Rare Opalescent Silver Grey/Red leather factory color combination; factory solid original floors; factory undercoating; original body gaps; original engine and transmission; Heritage Certificate included. Parked inside a dry Southern California garage and not driven since 1983, original black California license plates (1983 registration tags). Sold new in California, one owner since 1974. Low 65,507 original miles. Original interior in untouched condition (contact us if you prefer new factory-spec leather seats and console installed for $1500 extra). Our lead technician Brian changed the fluids, replaced some seals and lines, rebuilt the carburetors, and checked the vitals: the engine now runs superb with even compression on all cylinders (see video). All other mechanical systems need to be checked prior to driving. Please note that we go to extents to document our cars in pictures and provide the most transparent listings on Ebay. Please study the pictures carefully rather than requesting descriptions. Please complete any inspections or ask any questions prior to bidding or committing to buy the car. Thanks for the interest!
